Friday, February 26th, 2010Is Arlington, Virginia A Safe Place To Live In?
Tuesday, February 9th, 2010I’m planning to live in Arlington; as I’m a candidate for working at the Smithsonian Institution in NW DC. I may also be lecturing at Georgetown University and studying at the Library of Congress, Dumbarton Oaks, etc.
My question is: Are these places safe to live and work in? How safe are they?
BTW, what are the advantages and disadvantages of living there?
Please explain. . .
Best Place To Study In Dc? (preferably By Georgetown)?
Friday, February 5th, 2010It’s finals week, and everyone and their mother is studying at the library. There is absolutely no study space at Georgetown. Also, I hate studying in my room because I can never focus.
Can anyone recommend any place that has ample space to spread out my study materials and is relatively quiet in DC? I would prefer that it be close, but I don’t mind traveling on the metro if I have to.
Please help! I have a major focusing problem.
